It’s difficult to see the entire zoo in one day. Don't try it; instead plan for at least 2-3 visits. We've been there 4 times and we haven't seen it all yet. African Plains  - Trek past lions, storks, and zebras on a typical African savanna.
Congo Gorilla Forest - Go nose-to-nose with gorillas in a 6.5-acre swath of the rainforest that will transport you to the heart of Africa.

Bronx Botanical Garden

The New York Botanical Garden is a museum of plants, an educational institution, and a scientific research organization. Founded in 1891 and now a National Historic Landmark, it is one of the greatest botanical gardens in the world and the largest in any city in the United States.
The Garden’s living collections contain more than 1 million plants; its Continuing Education program is the largest and most diverse of any botanical garden in the world; its Children’s Education program has been a pioneer in innovative, informal science discovery activities; and its scientific research is unmatched in scope, depth, and authority.

Wave Hill   日本格

Wave Hill is a 28-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades. We haven't Made it there yet, but hope to make it this season. We've heard that its beauty is truly spectacular. If you've been there, why not leave us your impressions in a comment?

Wave Hill House has an interesting history. It has been the home of Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain and other well-known public figures.
